MOTO Records Artists Close Out Summer at Chubby Pickle Artist Showcase

Last Friday, August 16th, MOTO Records wrapped up the summer with a bang at their highly anticipated Summer Artist Showcase, held at The Chubby Pickle in Atlantic Highlands. After the success of our Winter Showcase at The Vogel in March, the event drew in a vibrant crowd of family, friends, and fans eager to celebrate the season’s end with unforgettable performances. The night featured performances from Miss Morning, Mel Lynn, Jack Sisk, Nick Buchanan, Owen DiNapoli, Tanner Grigoli, Kelly Reynolds, and October Man.

Miss Morning

Miss Morning woke up the crowd with her big stage debut. The set featured Riot Grrrl originals, covers by No Doubt, and (of course) plenty of stage antics.

Mel Lynn

Mel Lynn introduced a new dimension to her music with the addition of her backing band. The crew complimented her provoking original music, while also allowing her to do what she does best with a brief solo set featuring just her and her guitar.

Jack Sisk

Jack Sisk celebrated the release of his new single, “different guy” which dropped earlier that day. He treated the crowd to a sneak peak of his genre-blending pop/trap/R&B debut album, set to be released in the next coming months.

Nick Buchanan

After a busy summer studying at the NYU Clive Davis Institute in Brooklyn, Nick Buchanan returned to the stage to charm the audience with an acoustic set. He performed original songs like "Sixteen" and "What If I Told You," as well as covers of Ed Sheeran and The Backseat Lovers.

Owen DiNapoli

Owen DiNapoli recruited his bandmates from Elevator, who performed at our Winter Artist Showcase, to deliver a set of his heart-wrenching original music. The performance included familiar singles like "pinky promises" and "off my mind," as well as some unreleased tracks (that we are all hoping he releases soon).

Tanner Grigoli

Tanner Grigoli traded in the camera and the acoustic guitar for a full backing band and an electric guitar. He took us back in time with his ‘50s inspired originals, including “if u could be mine” and “Right Now”, as well as covers by Shawn Mendes and Sublime.

Kelly Reynolds

Kelly Reynolds electrified the stage as she effortlessly belted her way through her newly released debut singles, “Bloodstream” and “Medicine”, along with covers by Bruno Mars and Amy Winehouse.

October Man

October Man delivered a standout headlining set, featuring a surprise appearance from October Girl Zoe Rissa on the bass. They performed their debut single, "Matchstick", alongside other original music that is set to release later this year. The band brought all the energy to the stage and to the crowd as they closed out the night.

Thank you to our incredible audience, The Chubby Pickle, and our fantastic artists for making MOTO Records’ 2024 Summer Artist Showcase a truly unforgettable night.
